Hello, my name is Geoff Slack.  I am the owner and operator of Portland Drafting Services in Portland, Maine.  My goal is to provide drawings and plans to help support the Homeowner & Builder team.  

I can work with Builders directly to take your hand drawn sketches and ideas to create 3D rendered drawings to communicate your plans with the Homeowner.  Using these rendered drawings, I can then create plans to use as part of your building permit application.  This could include any required site plan, elevation views, framing details, foundation details, etc.

I am also happy to meet directly with Homeowners.  Meeting in person and on-site provides valuable insight to me to better understand the purpose of the project and the essential elements of the final build.  Successful projects require listening, timely communication and attention to detail.

A bit about my background:  I have a degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts Univ.  I have two master's degrees, one in Math Education and one in Mathematics.  I am not a licensed Registered Architect nor am I a Professional Engineer.  Homeowners and Builders should seek the consultation of these professionals as needed.
